Treasure Hunt, with a twist

 

Duration: 4 Hrs.

 

Objective: Run, play, have fun.

 

Age Group: Anybody old and young enough to run around,  decipher clues, read maps, and plan actions.  

 

Venue: Mutually convenient. We need a big enough area with enough open spaces, say an apartment complex or a school/club.

What is this workshop about?

 

Ever watched 'The Amazing Race' on TV? Want to be part of one? Here is your chance. Strap your boots. Turn on the detective hat, decipher clues, do activities, run, think, have fun.  And see your gadgets as you never saw them before, at the center of all the activities.

What will the participants gain from this?

 

One, they get out in the outdoors. Two, they learn how to work in a team in a  high-stress environment to achieve a goal. Three, as part of the race, they connect with the child inside them, get their hands dirty  and without even realizing, learn a whole lot about engineering in the process.

A good pair of running shoes, and absolutely no lethargy.
